These are not the “tourist” caves. The maximum ratio
is 6 to a guide, max 8 in a tour (10 for special
interest groups*). Your specialist guides work under
Tasmanian licence and accreditation requirements.
The service commenced in
1989 to provide professional cave experiences
delivered by experienced caving club people.
Bushwalking, fishing, quiet camping and many
accommodation options are available locally.
* Ask about our specially designed trips for groups.
The Activity
Each trip is different, because the style is
tailored for you. Choose from easy, walking passages
to squeezy passages. The grade may be easy up to
moderate, but does not include vertical ropes#.
The caves are undeveloped (natural) caves of the
Mole Creek Karst National Park. Options include
photography, music/voice, glow-worms, a peaceful
underground wilderness experience, environmental
interpretation, fossils, fauna, speleo-skills,
adventure/challenges or wet/muddy fun (ASF Minimal
Impact Code compliant).
#
For group bookings, a professional, accredited
abseiling specialist is available, extending
the experience with the vertical option (extra
cost). Please ask.

Special interest
group briefing for combined caving and abseiling
adventure. Note that abseiling is arranged for
group trips specially on request for extra cost
